INTRODUCTION:
During this session a new understanding about lines were introduced. There are different kinds of lines and each represent a different meaning or emotion. For eg. a bold horizontal line can represent stability or strength whereas a faint thin line might show weakness. We were shown various examples of different kind of lines and were asked to describe what we felt.
WARM-UP ACTIVITY:
For the warm up activity we were assigned to groups and for a fun activity where 4 words were given to different groups and we had to individually represent those words through lines. We also learnt the true meaning behind the adidas logo.
[Left: growth/evolution(above), anger/annoyed(below)]
[Right: slow(above), Loneliness/isolation(below)].
MAIN ACTIVITY:
Each group was asked to create separate google slides where we were given a set of words and each team mate had to choose two words out of the given options. After choosing, we had to represent those words through lines and finally create a 3d model based of of one of those words. I choose 'fragile' and 'threatened' and my representations of the two are shown below.
(Left: threatened),(right: fragile).

(My final 3-d representation of the word fragile using jaali technique).

REFLECTION:
I understand that the importance of lines in design.
I realise that I must try to help/support my teammates a little bit more.
Time management is also another aspect that I still need to work on.
LEARNING MANTRA: "Help others to help yourself."
